Epoweld
Structural Adhesives
EPOWELD one and two-part structural adhesives are used in a wide variety
of markets and applications such as aerospace, automotive, brush & roller,
filters, grinding wheels, hammers and axes, marine, repair and
maintenance, and sporting goods. Hardman's EPOWELD structural epoxies, and
DOUBLE / BUBBLE single-use structural adhesives offer superior bonding
properties such as exceptional shear and peel strength, chemical
resistance, high and low temperature resistance, vibration, shock, torque
and impact resistance, thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, and other
qualities not found in conventional adhesive materials and they improve
the performance and durability of the end product.

EPOWELD 13230
 |
Description:
EPOWELD 13230 is a semi-rigid, two-component structural epoxy
adhesive. It develops an excellent combination of shear
strength and peel strength with only a room temperature cure.
It has excellent shock resistance, vibration resistance and
impact strength.
Typical Uses: It is recommended for bonding similar
and dissimilar substrates such as wood, metal, ceramics, many
thermoplastics and SMC. Other applications include repair of
sporting goods such as skis, snowboards and golf clubs.

Description:
EPOWELD 20327 is a two-part, room temperature cure epoxy
adhesive. It has a quick gel time and displays very high
cohesive strength. It also exhibits excellent impact and

operating temperature range of -30บ F to 160บ F, and is
recommended for bonding a wide variety of similar and
dissimilar materials, including metal to metal, metal to wood
and metal and wood to many plastics. |

 |
Description:
EPOWELD 8173 is an extra fast setting, two-component, room
temperature curing epoxy adhesive. the system will cure at as
low as 0บ F. It has a convenient mix ratio, excellent cohesive
strength and bonds to most substrates including metal, wood,
concrete, ceramics and many plastics.
Typical Uses: It is
recommended for fast patching, fixturing and other repairs
requiring quick handling strength.
Two slower setting versions of
this system are also available; EPOWELD 8185, which sets in approximately
10 minutes, and EPOWELD 8269, which sets in approximately 20 minutes. |

Description:
EPOCAP 3648A/EPOWELD 3655B is a two component, room
temperature cure epoxy adhesive system.
Typical Uses: It is
designed to be used in medical applications, such as bonding
glass or plastic syringes to stainless steel needles. The mix
ratio of the system may be varied from that recommended with
little loss in overall cured properties. Increasing the amount
of curing agent (EPOWELD 3655B) will increase the flexibility
and decrease the hardness of the cured system. All components
of this system are listed under the code of Federal
Regulations (CFR) Title 21(Food and Drug Administration) Part
175 Subpart B. |

EPOSOLVEฎ 25036
 |
Description:
EPOSOLVEฎ 25036 is a blend of non-chlorinated solvents
designed for attacking and disintegrating fully cured and
uncured thermosetting plastics such as epoxies, urethanes and
polyesters. 25036 features a slow evaporation rate which
lowers VOC emissions and allows for maximum usage. An ideal
and efficient clean-up solvent for tools, brushes and
automatic dispensing equipment. Contains no ozone depleting
chemicals and is non-flammable and non-carcinogenic.
Typical Uses:
Total immersion of part to be stripped is recommended.
Where possible, remove any solvent sensitive components such
as O-rings and seals. Periodic brushing or scraping of the
surface will aid in removing thick sections of cured material.
Agitation of the solvent bath will also increase the rate of
attack by EPOSOLVEฎ 25036. |
